I was thinking the frame (where the exhaust starts out) and the rear sub frame (where it attaches to the pillion peg) changed angle.

But it's just the swing arm in relation to the rear sub frame that changes?

Ah OK

I've called Quill and they say there's a small chance they have sent me the wrong link pipe. they're gonna send me a different one to try, so wish me luck!

Did you get any spacers to space the pillion hanger out? With the spacers behind the hanger you can twist the link pipe around more!!!!

But that'd just make it stick out even more at the back, surely?

Ok, forgive the fact that it's dark outside...

Maybe I'll try that again in the morning...

You can probably see that it looks a bit grenade launcher-y!

Try putting the exhaust on the hanger the otherside of the bracket.. that will bring it back a lot...

actualy, I would say that is your problem right there.... the exhaust bracket is on the wrong side of the footpeg.. you want it on the back end of the peg, and not the front...

No go. Because the exhaust sticks out so much, I can only mount it on the outside of the hanger. I'm gonna have to put up with it for a while, as I have no link piupe to re-mount the original.

Poo!
