The shock only gets really bad after about 35,000 miles. I know the one on my old one was getting a bit sad by that time. For that price I would snatch his hand off

Is that the one with the welded in subframe/can hanger? If it is, check that... It's technically part of the frame, so if it's bent that's a bit of a thing.

Mine was N-reg and it was the welded design but I think they changed it not long after the model mine was. I could be wrong though so check it, like Northwind says.

aye thanks for the tips - i know the engines are good for 50+ its just the shocks i was wondering about.

I wouldnt touch a 2nd hand helmet myself but theyre thrown in with the bike so like Hovis said, they'd probably be eBayed along with paddock stand etc.

If theres any petrol in the tank - isnt it likely to have gone off? Will it have to be drained prior to starting?

by the looks of it mate i think ill be keeping it, if i do ill be spending £££'s of bits and bobs for it for next year or if it did go then im gonna be going Supermoto styleeeee and doing a few trackdays

drain the petrol & bin it (just in case)
