since the emulator sits between the top of the spring & the bottom of the spacer, you need to cut the length of the emulator off the spacer

obvious really

I thought they sat at the bottom of the springs? On top of the damping rods, held in place by the springs?

true, true

<from_the_weazelbox>

you still have to cut it the same amount though, the emulator is still causing the spring to be compressed by its (the emulator's) length

ps - guess who had to dismantle his fork legs after installing his emulators on top of the springs
