on my last kwak zzr 600 94 m plate with 13,000 miles on i had this same thing happen but it was only when i throttled off? i had the thing in bits and my mechanic did me a full service checking everything! but still the noise didn't go away? i evan changed the downpipes because mine were badly corroded! anyhow to cut a long story short i sold the bike to a nice chappy i met at the stormy petrel meet and 2 years later i still see him and speak to him on that same zzr600 he ride the bl@@dy thing everywhere and it has never let him down.

i doubt theres anything wrong with the engine matey.

i saw a video on the net before, i hope someone knows of it and posts it again, it was a test to see how far you would need to go to blow up a jap engine! the bike in question run on full throttle for ages then full throttle for ages with no oil or water and it still kept going! jap engines are mega strong.
if i remember rightly the exhaust melted but the engine kept running.

thankx for looking it at it for me, its just as you can imagine once you crash everything seems wrong, like the whole struggles over 115mph thing, but my yokes are still slightly bent so i ride with more pressure on the throttle grip to balance it, i havent oiled my chain in ages or checked tension on it, i want a fast bike in short i want my bike to do 160mph is it possible?? im not sure how it can be done or what upgrades, id love it two up and not struggle....

i had a write off for 2 years without knowing about its history, i think your bike may feel alot diff because you know its been in a crash and your thinking it cant be right. after i found out about my bike being a write off i felt diff about that.
