reccomend me a vaccuum cleaner

Get a henry. Yep, one of those red things with the smiley face. Cheap on Ebay.

I've had one for a year now, it hoovers the house as usual, as has also:

- Sucked up brick dust, sawdust and bits of plaster while decorating
- Been dropped from a stepladder
- Used as a workshop dust extraction tool (on the end of a wall chaser)

and it still goes on!

The great thing is, they're completely modular so if a wheel falls off you can get another for £10, a dust filter (washable) for £15 etc... you can even get replacable motors and they don't have drive belts.

If you have big problems with pet hair and the normal one doesn't do it, you can get a special "Turbo brush" thing thats supposed to help. I've not needed it.

Yup, I saw the DC07 there the other day for £99. the wife was well mad as she paid about £180 for ours. If I had known at the time how much the bloody thing cost it would have been back in the shop before you could have said refund.

Seriously though, they are damm good vacuum cleaners and well recommended by the most critical of user, ie my missus who can polish/clean more in one week than any quak zzr could in a lifetime. (Gauntlet thrown)

Are we really discussing which vacuum to buy
