Not to highjack the thread but, Billy the Bandit 12 rear wheel was it a straight swap and did it alter the handling?

There's other options, but the SRAD fork swap is really good value for money, you can come out ahead if you sell the SV bits. It's also pretty simple to do. Not dead easy, but fairly easy. There's all sorts of other options but SRAD gives a good benefit and it's simple, you can pick and choose parts from other GSXRs but it adds hassle and not a huge amount of gain- it's only recently that the GSXR forks have improved all that much.
I used a mix of SRAD and GSXR K3 parts myself, almost entirely because I don't like the SRAD mudguard ![]()

Thanks to everyone who sent aadvice & billy for the the picy,looks awesome!
If i fit a gixer front end do i have to change rear shock as well,and is the front wheel on the gixer the same as the sv thanks again |
