I go about once every 5-7 years.

yeah, my dentist can't afford a hygenist (yeah right!) so he does the checkups and cleaning.... £85 for 30mins, not a bad hourly rate. He's just about given up asking me to floss.

Watch you don't get charged for not cancelling Ed, my Dentist has a big sign up, saying you'll be charged if you don't turn up.

I'm due to go for my 6 month check up. Actually, I was due to go in march... We actually got one of those sonic toothbrushes each! They're, em, interesting! And by god - they get yer teeth clean clean clean!!!

I think its pretty much accepted now that 6 months is unneccesary. Or it was but isnt such a nice earner .
I have been forced to go for the first time in 10 or so years and low and behold he couldnt find anything other than what I had to go for ( a molar that broke about 4 years ago ).
I'll need three appointments-ish and I'm putting the pain of paying off by only going about once a month

Oh don't get me started on these spawns of evil - Traffic Wardens have a better pedigree than these mongrol children of Cerberus.

Any child that shows early signs of an unhealthy desire to root around in other people's mouths with metal objects needs to be dropped repeatedly on their heads until sense, or a comatose state, sets in. Either's good.

As for Dental Hygenists, the ******* child of a Tax Man and a Barrister has more chance of being granted membership of the human race. They are the dental profession's wannabes - the equivalent of an office-block Night Security Guard when compared to a Police Officer.


I shall visit these heathen conglomerations of flesh, blood, bone and bile when I am in such excrutiating pain I wished I was dead...
