Worth mentioning that TL1000S and R, GSXR SRAD, and all Busas till at least 2006 all had the same wheel and discs.

K2 thou forks will fit into SRAD yokes or Y-K3 750 yokes just fine, not sure about later ones. You can also use the Y-K3 4-pot calipers, probably the better option since they're lighter. The 6-pots are more powerful, but it doesn't matter since the 4-pots are already more than strong enough.

Hope this helps

Thanks for all the info! I've now got most of bits, just a matter of getting it all together. I'll post photos when it's done.

Does this apply to all SV's (the new shape...) and how much of an effect did the change have on the Insurace, i do realise that itll be different for each of us but just a rough estimate would be a help.

I really don't know why we don't have a sticky post on GSXR front end conversions.
But then I guess Northwind wouldn't have a 10K+ post count if he didn't mind repeating himself so much. (No wonder he's never had a chance to measure up!)

My insurance said no problem it won't affect your insurance quote at all if I changed the front suspension etc.

Yep, that was TSM's experience too. Others aren't so happy with it, though. I've always suspected that some places are saying "Ok" because they don't really realise what you're doing though Brokers being salesmen not insurance experts. I had one place totally happy to insure mine till I mentioned the nonstandard front wheel- everything else was fine but don't change the wheels Also, brilliantly, "I've resprayed it green" "And is it cosmetically altered"

Having been on both sides of the fence, I highly recommend distrusting all insurers on general principles...
