Morning

Welcome to the site, id also check out svrider.com (Its a US based site) However, we are a friendly bunch and would like it if you stayed a while longer.

As for your bike. Good choice. As for the height issues, there are a couple of things that can be done. You can get longer dogbones(Honestly its what they are called). These will lower the back of the bike down. You can drop the forks throught the yokes a bit to lower the front, or you can get your seat remoulded (They cut about 10mm or foam from the seat). Also it may be worth looking at Daytona Ladystar boots as they have a built up heel but look normal. Im sure one or all of these things will help.

Hello, welcome to the site. There are peeps here who are shorter than you and ride fine on the curvy SVs. Have fun

Hello, Viney's already covered the lowering issue. I'm the same height and have a pointy, so I think a curvy would be ok as well.

The SV is a very easy bike to get on with, there are loads of people on here that have got SV's right after passing their test.

Thanks to you all for such a warm welcome. I think I'll be okay on it. I just wanted to check in with the pro's.
I am on my tippy toes and balls of my feet on the SV. I've had people say..."yea lower it" and others say "don't lower it if you don't have to". Guess maybe it screws with the bike if you lower it??? Maybe having the seat shaved will help. Although my bum needs all the comfort padding I can get....
And yea, we have some pretty fun canyons to ride here. Once all this &*^%$ snow melts and they get the gravel off the roads. Then, game on!
