I'm with Muffles ont his one. A 2 quid remined is well worth the cash. I got mine free with an oxford disc lock and it's saved me looking a tit on a few occasions.

I did the disc-lock trick at the AR, but nobody noticed
 Put it on the rear disc or sprocket, less likely to cause damage and they're cheaper to replace if you do, not to mention it's harder to move a bike with a locked rear wheel and parking lock on.

Nearly happened to me leaving work i have a xena alarmed disc lock thank god when i went to move off the alarm went AMEN avoided a very embarrassing fall .off
