Track/race bike insurance

Just to clear up any confusion - I'm not after trackday insurance - instead an insurance policy for a track bike against theft. Since most road policies don't cover trackdays (and I can't ride it on the road) it seems pointless paying for full comp road insurance, when really I only want cover against the bike being stolen.

I'm putting a daytime MOT on my SV trackbike and insuring it fully comp on my multibike policy. I declared the modifications to Carole Nash and the additional bike bumped my premium up by 30 quid. So I have all the bikes in my signature insured fully comp for the grand sum of £213, with all their modifications and extras listed.

I had my SV insured while it was out of MOT and untaxed, through Carole Nash... They just slapped me with a mighty warning not to ride it, and stated that the value would be lower in the event of a theft. Still, that was a roadbike not race, so I've no idea if that'd apply.

Cosmetic damage to your frame will write it off nicely for you to be paid out
