Can't take the l.e.d.s out though!

After testing the battery at 11.2v and trying it on the bike to get a very poor clicky sound I have admitted defeat and am filling up the new one on Weazelz advise. The old one had 11 hours of charge so I think it's had it.

Might as well own shares in Yuasa!

Bet you're not Weazelz!

Bugger about the battery....the fact you havn't posted cursing your luck, i hope means you made it to the trackday.

If it wont start after 11 hours of charge sounds like you need a new battery IMO.

Certainly did. Only got the click of the starter motor this morning so filled up the other one and used that. Works fine. Not sure how long it'll last but will make sure I ride the bike regularly to keep it going. I had an amazing bit of luck last night though-A stranger to me on here PMd me to say he's working near me and to call if I needed a battery. I called him and he was literally working over the road in the RAF base! He would've lent me his battery if all else failed. Nice one Furry Ginger One. It's nice to know we can all help each other out.

Track day report on a new post coming soon!

Cheers fellas.

The difference in batteries there is pretty trivial... Won't likely give you ny problems at all, if it was me I'd just leave it in, or, if you decide you want a better one get one of the YTZs instead. But there's nothing wrong with the one you've just fitted for an SV.

Cheers Northwind. Certainly will be leaving it in as it cost me 53 quid! I'm sure it'll be fine too. Just a wee bit smaller.

Very nice indeedy thankyou Mr Weazelz. Will post a short report as soon as I've soaked my weary bones and soothed my aching muscles. Kept it shiny side up.
