Not topped it out yet, seen about 105, but I had my waterproofs on and the wind drag was enough that I was struggling to hang on lol. Bearing in mind mine is naked.

I've heard that the 33bhp doesnt do much to the top speed, just takes longer to get there.
Your best bet is to let someone else have a go and tell you how it feels, or just check the carbs.

he says its probably the restrictor kit. or mucky carbs

Much as I'd love to weld the restrictor kit to an anvil and drop it in the sea...

I think its just a lean spot and not an actual problem, has done it since I put the can on.

Has he considered using those as some form of anti-chav artillery?

I can see it now ... one blip of the throttle and an extra spark in the pipes enough to send any lowered, over-stereo'd corsa bouncing down the road...
