I am by no means a red neck lol I am from Ohio but lived most of my life in South FLorida, Key West, Key Largo, Ft. Lauderdale..lived in Texas for a bit and Kodiak Alaska. I had two bikes in Alaska a street bike for the summer and a enduro for the winters...

Looks like you get around. Sounds like it would be fun for a bit. I did like Key West when I went down there though. It seems like it would get boring quick from a riding standpoint.

PaulSV650S,
Thanks for the awesome post ![]() I almost sold my sv650s because of the riding position. After reading your awesome post I changed my mind . I am trying to get all the parts etc to changes the handle bar. Will the following handle bar work ? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Super...spagenameZWDVW If possible could you please post some more pics of the parts and your bike after the changes are done. Do I need to get the whole triple clamp like the following pic or just the upper triple clamp? Last edited by thrill; 11-09-07 at 06:59 PM. |

All you will need is the upper clamps and handle bar clamps. The handle bars are the same ones I bought off of Ebay, same type and company. I will put some pics on tonight but if you need to see some now look at my other thread New Prototype Exhaust about five pics. let me know if you need anything at all.

the ridding position is awsome but still sporty. I use my bike to and from work and it made a huge improvement in comfort.

I am also thinking of lowering the seat using gel pad inside it like Tom Monroe
did in the following link http://www.itrocks.com/motorcycles/gel_seat.htm Do you think the above will make it better or worse ? |
