Heroes

I think Heroes is much more captivating than Lost, or Prison Break or any of the other major US "drama" series' which have been popular lately.
Sid Squid, I'm sure you've watched at least an episode of each since you're commenting, but I don't know why you're stating opinion as fact. If you don't like it, fine, but there are lots that do.

You can't compare the two at all.. Lost never went anywhere and was absolute crap

Heroes nearly always ends at a juncture but it does actually move on each time, of course they usually introduce new things as well but by the end of the series its pretty much all come to a head.. of course then you've got the HUGE cliffhanger which sends you into a spin for series 2.. but no spoilers here

As someone else said, just download them off of bittorrent if you don't want to wait, I saw the first 16 eps over a few days, really was annoying waiting each week for the others after that

Best series that has been on tv for years by far

Erm no, that would be the new Battlestar Galactica, or, maybe the new Dr Who

Heroes was just finishing up on telly in Australia last time I was there (March this year) so I heard so much about it. Luckily a guy at work *cough*downloaded*cough* it so I copied it and watched it all in one hit (well over a few days)

Such an awesome series. Its always got "cliffhangers" at the end of each episode, but not to the extent of Lost where they are never answered. I hated Lost and still do with a passion, simply cannot watch it!

Heroes takes about 5 or 6 episodes to really get going, coz there is so many stories and characters to introduce, but they did an awesome job .. stick with it and enjoy the ride

You think Heroes is bad ( well, actually it's good, but you know what I mean)..........bl**dy Jericho ended the series on a huge cliffhanger..............and we've got to wait til next year to find out what happens next. I was so furious when they just stopped the story dead in the final episode that I shouted 'You B*st*rds!' at the telly.

Heroes is frickin' brilliant! Stick with it Kinvig - i was dubious for the first few episodes but it gets REALLY good!!

They're good but not upto Heroes.. altho BSG is close.. final series next time too

Yes, but Jericho was cancelled. That would have been the last you saw of it, but so many people wrote in and petitioned the network that they brought it back. Next year

I am completely hooked on Heroes, the best bit of TV for ages. I thouhgt I would give it a try after all the hype thinking it would be cr@p, but I even flick over to BBC3 to watch the following weeks episode. I think the end of every episode just makes you want to watch the next one to see what happens............... Quality TV
