Hugger, Belly Pan, Tail Tidy. Advice needed

Which seat do you have, it doesn't look standard?

The seat is an OEM gel seat, I recommend it. Watch eBay, you can pick them up for less than dealer cost if you are patient.
I did not know that I liked it at first, but followed advise from this site rode it for a couple of months to break it in. I had convinced myelf that the stock seat was easier to move around on so put the original back on. One trip to the Mini Mart (7 miles) showed me the error of my ways. I put the gel seat back on before I put the milk in the fridge.

I also picked up the sticky back plastic seat back rest from Jester's Trick Bits (UK), unnecessary but I like it better than the plain cowl, and it does help with scratching of the paint. You folks in the UK seem to have a gift for knowing how a bike should look, saving the weird full covered rear wheel thing in the early 60s.

Of course, I don't ride in the rain all the time like you do. The full rear cover was probably pretty practical.

I have just got round to fitting my R & G tail tidy, what a difference it makes to the Rsend.

They are quite expensive but no problems with fitting except you lose the hook for the tank prop.

I also discovered that the mice are still living inside the frame so invested in a mouse trap as well

Wheelnut, I too have had mice in the bike, little nipper mouse traps are the best in my experience!

The Pyramid hugger I have on mine is well made and fits nicely enough, but the 'wrap-around the swing-arm' bracket on the right side is gash in the extreme. It doesn't fit properly, is made of a metal called rustkwik and is all in all totally charmless. Pretty poor when there are two brake hose loop brackets directly in front of and behind the fixing bolts that could have been used to anchor a T shaped bent bracket off.

1- You can drill a hole in the tail tidy and just pop in the OEM clamp you remove from the snow shovel. The forward clamp is lost, I just used a short velcro band and tied it to the frame, no rattles and you still carry the prop on the bike.

2- Get yourself a little weiner dog; they are death on small rodents, and are small enough to throw in a tank bag

Fitted a powerbronze hugger on my K3.Looks good in black(the bike`s silver),and fits
easily My only criticism is the chainguard bit could do with being a bit longer as oil
splashes up onto the rea bodywork.
