Bit of a harsh judgement isn't it? I've used them about 50 times with no problems at all.

Bloody Post Office are the only ones who ever lose/destroy anything I send.

Derail.

Kwak, whats the story with a big jump in price from 2kg to 4kg? Got stung the other day with a parcel that was 2.2..... It worked out cheaper to send the two items seperately.

Not at all. They didnt even ring me to tell me that they had lost it. Until 28 days had past. That way they dont have to pay out the insurance. Rude employees. Even ruder management.

from the second your parcel/letter leaves you any problems and its the post offices fault? i'm glad there's competition now let's see how the others cope, half the time the sender has'nt sent it on time, not paid the correct postage or put a spurious address on that doesn't exist. the post office/ royal mail arnt perfect but in 327 ebay transactions ive had no real problems.

Fair enough, someone lost your parcel and their CS was crap, but that's not to say they're any more or less crap than any other outfit, and therefore no-one should use Parcel2Go. You've had no trouble with ParcelForce, but I for one have in the past, and no doubt others have with every courier.

Incidentally, Parcel2Go aren't the people who courier the parcels anyway... they just arrange the courier as an intermediary, usually either DHL (good) or HDNL (bad, on the one occasion I've been unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end of their service).

I'm with you on this one. Royal Mail are imo superb. I have sent and received nigh on 2000 items in the last 12 months and only had one go missing, and I think the customer was trying to fleece me anyways.

If I had one gripe, its how they try and sell me, insurance, mortgages or credit cards at the counter when there is a queue out the door....

DHL and CITY LINK are both very good carriers but as WRC says if you post a letter with tnt mail they just bring it to the post office anyway and we do TRUFFNELS parcels.
