To be honest im not sure what DB screen was originally on my SV

It was on the bike when I bought it, It might be my mind playing tricks but it doesnt seem any worse with a standard on... and i am talking at *COUGH* motorway *COUGH* speeds!

If it were me and I was commuting through all weathers.

1. double bubble screen as suggested, have a look for a F.Fabri one as they are IMHO the best for a pointy.

2. Fenda extenda, good for wet days stops mud and gunk spraying all over the bike and also keeps the water out of the front spark plug ( although there are other ways of doing this should you get this problem )

3. Hot Grips, nice and toasty hands in the winter

4. Scotoiler, good idea if your commute is a long one.

If you're going down the lowers route, then save up the money for the Suzuki OEM ones are they really are the nicest looking set and you'll be guaranteed that they'll colour match with the rest of the bike.

Front forks, & wing mirror stalks
& downpipe - but that is only a concern if you dare to ever post up a pic on here, it is not a question of it ever rusting through
otherwise Fizzwheel has it pretty much covered except don't bother with lowers if you've already got a pretty bike.

Stu, thanks for that, now i can actually look for something and know what it is.

Its a silver 650S, i've been toying with the idea of a Belly pan rather than a fairing, but i suppose it wont be until i've seen it i can decide.

My commute is 40 miles a day, so over the course of a working year at most i'll be looking at 9400 for commuting alone, i will probably use it for other things aswell though.

I will get a fender extender, i notice how much crap gets chucked up from the wheel on the NSR and the CBR's one is shorter still.

What about huggers?

Thanks

Pete

Welcome T'org Pete

Personally go by what others has said really, Double Bubble definately, fenda extenda, nice loud can so ur heard, not a top priority but if you using it just as a commuter then some louder horns, scottoiler, I'd second the OEM Lowers, but i find a belly pan more practical for oil top ups etc. Decent set of rubber on them i think has been missed, only my personal opinion but Z6's (metzeler) or PR2's seem to be the pick of the bunch for the wet weather on the SV. Reflective Coat with SV.org and ya forum name on the back like mine so we recognise ya too lol.

That is as you say very disturbing.

I may now go and cower in a corner to get over the distress and trauma to my optic nerves due to the brightness of that jacket.

You noticed the luminance of the jacket over the gayness of the "model"

Now that's disturbing.

Welcome to the site fellow Pierre.
