The reservoir is where Hovis mentioned, beside the shock. Easy to access there and out of the way. I used to have it more or less where you're talking about, though I had it inside the subframe for ease of access... I found it'd often lose its prime when on its side, though my oiler is very old, and doesn't work quite as well as the current model.

Ohlins. Same as on Northwinds, although my "bottle" is located on the right hand side of the bike.

Right had a play with it, next to the shock is just annoying me, can't seem to get everything to fit right and look like its out of the way of moving bits.
So its on the subframe, nicely accessible from the pillion seat, I'm just in the process of routing the injector pipe and figuring out how to drop the oil in the right place.
