675 would be: firmer, faster, more of a racing crouch, quicker to stop, easier to turn, more expensive, smaller

I had to get lower pegs to accomodate my legs in the tank on the SV but the Daytona's fine. I wasn't going to let my size stop me getting the bike I like as they're all going to be fairly similar.

Just different, 675 sounds crap at idle (only heard it with the stock pipe) but open it up and even standard it has a lovely snarl to it. Quote:
But it's got the comfort to match that suspension ![]() The handling is just lovely though, the one I tried had been set up for someone about 1/4stone lighter than me, and I found it very confidence inspiring in the turns. It laughed at my riding abilities!

Yeha i can imagaine that there would be alot more power with the 675. But I dont even use all the power that the SV has, how would you ever need any more!!
The only time that ive needed more power was when I went around the pirbright twistys with Stu and he was on his 750 green machine! |

The only thing I'm not a fan of on the 675 is the stupidly racey tyres. Like riding on rocks for the first few miles and I doubt I'll EVER get them warm enough for maximum effect. Have been recommended Diablos by a fella on the Trumpet site. My chicken strips are the width of the SV back tyre! That is until I get it on track.

I have just spent the day pondering over a Ltd edition 675. Graphite grey, £1000 worth of carbon (everything that is available for it on the triumph website) and its a 1 of 150
![]() So damn tempting, if my insurance company were open today and they dont qoute rediculous figures I would have had it there and then. I can see me needing to reduce my premium to theft only, increasing my compulsory excess to £500 and leave it in the garage until my renewal is due in two months though. I have been screwed over once before when swapping a car with only 2 months left on the policy, last time they wanted £400 for 2 months even though my whole policy for the year was only £300 grrr i hope they dont stitch me up. |

How much is it? and is everyone getting a 675 on here now LOL! |
