It won't be such a positive when your next insurance premium rockets. Although i guess you're claiming for your bike already so a bit more won't hurt.

Try and work out what it will cost you to replace yourself, then decide which is cheaper in the long term.

Did you make contact with the barriers/any road furniture? As like the ape, the highways agency may try and rip you off for that.

Invariably you will have to pay the recovery charge, which is usually crazy money(?150+), for some bloke to put your bike on a lorry.

Yes these things are negative, but forewarned is.....

ASM - The recovery charge is being picked up by the insurance company. As for the premium going up........ To be honest, no matter how much I pay will still be worth it as I enjoy the bike too much.

Had no contact with barriers or road furniture. Just straight down the mway, the BMW behind braked and the last thing I rmember was his tyre being a few meters away from me. After that, woke up in the ambulance.

Hope you get it sorted quickly.Insurance man has just wrote mine off today.so just waiting for there crapp offer on my 07 K6 sv sport 2,800 miles and the dealer told not to expect much more than 3k of an offer.
