One of these...if you can find a good one. 2000(or perhaps it's 2001) onwards have rear disc brake.

Does everything the SV, will sit at 60mph to 70mph(over 75mph Max speed) all day long, up to 95mpg. Brakes are linked but work very well......stops on a six pence

Cheers
Ben

XT and SM are a bit high for me - have just tried to sit on both.

tbh, only a slight difference on pick up
gets straight to 115mph no probs
115/120mph starting to struggle a bit....but does get there
120+really struggling from then on
overall i would say around 85/90% the power of a standard sv and a real hoot to ridehth.

Wait until you see something you 'need' to have. No point otherwise.

Thanks. I have an unfaired SV so 115+ not really an issue. Fancy the comfort and practicaliy of the v-strom, and the fact that a top box doesn't look crap on it, just don't want to lose the fun factor

So it could be the very reason for me getting the SV is the reason I'll be keeping it then?!?

Either that or I'll have to wait for platform heels to come back in!!
