I found doing that quite funny. But then in the old days, I used to enjoy going to the chemists and asking for condoms in a really loud voice and watching the embarrased looks on everyones faces.

Preparation H is very good for tats IMHO as it contains a local anaesthetic which is great once the itching sets in.

I didn't use any cream at all on mine, and I never had the scabbing either. Must've just been lucky

Do not go sunbathing or you will fade it rather quickly, so cover it as much as possible until it heals. Also get out the clingfilm, as it forms a barrier so germs can't get in, and somehow it stops it stinging. Its likened to the affect of having a burn......and what do you cover them in in first aid.....clingfilm

I have covered so many folk in clingfilm, with tats, but its nowt kinky i can assure you

I never liked the idea of covering mine when they were new with anything or using cream after all as DB said it's a bit like having a burn and cream just didnt appeal to me warm soapy water was fine.

Sunburn on tat's owch!!!.. dont do it, not only does it fade the inks it hurts like hell!
