High Viz clothing

Thanks for all the input - I am going for the bright, be seen option (from all angles). Its not that I think people will see me any more than they do but my one experience as a car driver and having a bike pull out in front of me (badly). I only saw his refelective gear but stopped in time. I suppose I am saying that is there more harm than good wearing high viz and the answer is no, whatever little you can do to help the safe ride home then good.
