What you got to remember though, is that they are purley straightline weapons. The MV is a RACE bike, designed to go round corners, not about straightline speed....... Thats why i think its so amazing.

There where plenty of tests that the Busa hit the double ton then they restricted it.

Only if they disconnect the speedo, the speedo over reads and when it gets to 300khm the restriction starts cutting in.

I dont think its restricted like that. I think it is limited in certain gears at certain revs. I think 5th and 6th. So it cant rev enough to do the speeds. At least thats what I understand it to be.

Correct, but it will also kick in like a rev limiter when the speedo reaches 300k so the speedo needs to be disconnected or at least jiggled with.

But with speedo inaccuracy such a problem you STILL wouldnt know how fast you were going if you left it connected.
