Just done 3200 miles on tsubaki gold x ring and steel jt sprockets. Still doesn't need adjusted and I manually lube! Enough said.

I agree - you do need to lubricate an o-ring chain - this keeps the o-rings supple and stops them drying out and cracking - if they dry out and crack they will fall off and the dirt can get in and the grease can get out - the lube also protects the rollers and side plates from corrosion. Use a proper chain spray for o-ring chains. I have used PJ1 and Castrol chain wax to good effect. Also, do when the chain is warm if you can after a ride - helps the lube penetrate better.
