Is rim tape chavvy?

rossi's bike has rim tape (ok well a painted line prob not tape lol )

I quite like it on mine, i've seen it in the demon tweeks catalogue for a fiver.

I might have to take mine off soon though as they are looking a little ragged now

Hopefully I can get some Oz wheels for Feb and new insurance

What bike is that? Looks like it has been built out of the oddments bin ,so I suppose chav tape looks ok on it.

I'm not sold on rim tape, it always ends up looking really untidy.

I especialy dont like the flourescent colours.

On some bikes it looks ok, especially e.g. Black R6's with red rim tape

Best though is when people paint on their colour of choice, but you dont see that happen too often.

No that doesn't look bad although those are more of a charcoal colour. I tohught the poster meant wheels a similar colour to mine <

I think rim tape looks ok. Not sure on silver wheels though, doesnt really show up. That Aprillia is nice. What is it?!
