My Akra was the same as Plowsies with the perferated tube attached to the inlet cap but Stus Micron I did last week the perferated tube was just loose.

That was the first can I stubbied. Not sure if it was confidence or stupidity to do a £300 Akra can as my first!

I think it sounds better, not offencively noisey but plenty loud enough

This is my home (shed) made stubby. I re-welded the inner pipe ( the one with all the holes) then I pop riveted the outer sleeve back in place.
On the dyno the stubby breaths better so ran leaner. It's makes more top end but sacrifices a little in the mid range.
It's 8 inches......erm..... so is the end can

forgot to mention it makes 105.2 decibels on a hot day 104 on a cold day. So just passes scrutenearing.
