You can buy the connectors that come with the optimate/heated grips. I ended up making a few to go with my optimate so I can just alternate it between the bikes

We just stick the 'socket adapter on the optimate and a sockets on the bikes, then its easy just to plug it into them all, even the car if needed.

+1 I bought another from Ebay for a few quid (old one went missing with my bike ). DD how did you make your own? Do you mean using the standard connector, or ones you put together yourself?

I used a couple of ring connectors to connect to the battery some 2 core wire and one of the white 2 pin connectors that are on the optimate (they can be bought seperately from some places) costs less than a quid to make
