If you can't get the GSXR shocks then the ZX6 shocks fit (battery tray needs to be cut), I have them on both my SV's. Some people don't like them as they can be a little hard, but for my 14 bulk its just fine.

sorry for the slight hijack again but do any of the gsxr or 636 shocks fit a K6 without hacking anything? I think I can manage fitting but not modifying much so could do with an easy solution but can't afford a branded one.

have fitted a gsxr1000 k7 shoky to my k8 sv650...
it took a lot of faffing about and cutting of the airbox, but what a difference its made. its about perfect for ride ability and hight for me (it lowered the bike quite a lot at the back), one nice trick i have done to get the hight of the battery right is, i used a bit of garden hose to go round under the battery beneath the tray sitting on the ridge, i then cut a bit off the foam block under the rider seat to allow for the extra hight. forgot to say you also need the gsxr1000 k7 lower bolt and nut, you also have to turn it the other way round when inserting it and grind it down a little or it fouls the dogbone. i had a look on the official suzuki parts fiche to find the exact part numbers for the bolts and/or original shock for the gsxr and sv but there's not section which covers the shock or accompanying bolts, just bits about the forks and the swingarm
