its good to see prices coming down espesh when you drive a thirsty car but i still cant get excited, any drop in prices is good but they shouldn't have gone up in the first place.

This is all very good if it is local,on your door step, but if it isn't in the passing you probably burn what you have saved in getting to the CHEAP garage to save 20-30p when filling the bike up.
Based on the average running cost fuelwise for an SV at 10p per mile.

Remember people that the value of the pound has dropped, and oil is mainly sold in USD. The dollar is down to less than 1.70 for a pound now, so although the price of oil has come down a bit, it won't come through to us as quickly because of what the dollar is now a bit stronger against the pound.

It's between 104.9 and 107.9 around here.. It'd be nice to see under £1/l again

It'd be nice to see it at the price it was being sold at the last time a barrel of oil was $78/Barrel

You can use http://www.keepmoving.co.uk/fuel_pag...route_id=66312 to check all the petrol stations on your route.

it raggs me off because oil shortages were ment to be pushing prices up, when we run into a recession prices drop no matter how much oil is left?
am i missing something?

The only oil shortage pushing prices up is when OPEC cut productoni because the price is too low...........oh and guess what OPEC are doing this week......cutting production by 1,000,000 barrels a day.
