You have a injected bike... the older 99-02 models had carbs, so when you flick the kill switch some unused fuel gets dumped in to the exhaust and explodes. Bang... back fire on demand. Though its not good to do it allot, as its bad for the carbs and exhaust.

not with my puny sounding IL4 !!!

was on the (ex) girlfriends ducati monster the other day through town, and that thing is LOUD, so had to give it some past the chavs on their scooters, innit mush

There was a kid last week when I was stopped on the phone, he was on his push bike and asked if I could rev it so I did a little, he was asking about all the pedals and levers. after a few minutes, he quitly asked if he could twist the throttle, he looked dead happy so I let him. Always a good feeling to make a people happy!
