Will do - looking forward to meeting up with some people of here some time. As for not going postal - i waited till he'd gone lol To be fair he admitted it was his fault and said this again to the two witnesses - he's been pretty fair - but i cant relax until he's paid up.

Welcome to the site Wizurd. Nice bike - glad you you're enjyoing it (or were). Sorry to hear about your little incident but **** happens. Similar thing happened to me a couple of months ago at traffic lights and there are still some honest people in the world so if you think he's the honest type and will pay up this will be much easier than messing about with the insurance company. So long as your okay I'm sure the bike will be easy to fix.

And most of them are on here!
Welcome to the Org. Me and Stretchie were out on the Chepstow-Usk road yesterday and did it happen at the junction where you come out of the twisties, sharpish left to the junction and then have to turn right onto the dual carriageway into Usk? If it was there, I've always thought that's a horrible junction to have to sit at on a bike with idiots coming up behind you.

I dare say if the farmer is well known in the area and by the way he was so forthcoming with his admission of guilt to you and witnesses, you shouldn't have a problem but I would advise you to just write down the details of what happened and what was said by all involved while it's still fresh in your memory so that you can refer to that if need be later on. It's amzing how quickly little things can be forgotten.

Next time Stretchie and I are heading out that way on the bike, we'll give you a shout and hope you manage to get your lovely new SV fixed up soon!

Yer thats the junction it happened on. twisties to a tight ish left bend to the junction.had her positioned correctly, signalling right then bang. Happened i think around half 12 ish to 1 - i was on the side of the road for a couple of hours sorting breakdown pickup

She's starting ok now - initially she started after the accident so i could get her across the road - but then wouldn't start. Think i must have left her with the park lights on. Battery is charged all good now.

If your around the area then give me a shout - fingers crossed will have the bike sorted soon and i'll be back on it.

Will let you all know how it goes with getting her sorted. As long as theres nothing major wrong i can sort the rest of it
