Paiste, I'm sure this bike was parked up at Cadwell on Monday 30th when I was there. Was that you ?? I was riding my white sv racer, see pic.

I used a hack saw, a good hard blade will see you right. 32 tpi or something in that range, a bi-metal one.

Stubbyed my blueflame last weekend went very well took longer then i thought as i have an oval can and the grinder did not cut through all of the inner pipework. Most trick bit was puting the end cap back in was a bit fiddly althogh i cut the can in half it did not get any louder but is loud enough anyway.

Yes mate. That was me! We were all commenting how good yours sounded when you were going down the back straight! We couldn't work out how it passed the noise test though! I think the testing was a bit random, mates sv thou passed no probs without baffles but the Moto Morini failed.
Nice riding by the way, you were showing some of those ss600's up

Wished I'd had a go now. Chickened out, will do the next one.

Aye, the secret is when he says rev to 5500, rev it to 5000 then distract him by asking why they don't allow a +1 db tollerance due to the cold weather like the ACU do when I'm racing. He got confused and said, yeah, that's okay.
I take a spare full lengh micron in case it ever fails but it's allways bang on 105 / 104 if it's hot.
I reckon they'll allow you up to 106 un-officialy. That moto morini was loud. It was vibrating my car even with the baffels in.
