hmmmm to throw this one in. A Cagiva VRaptor 1000 doesn't have a steering damper. However an Xtra VRaptor does. No difference in the bike, apart from I think it has adjustable front fork thingys and a bit of carbon fibre bling. And all owners that have an Xtra Raptor rip the damn dampers off cause they're not needed and are really pooooooo!

try a fork brace.... might help...
mines shakes its head now and again, but it has never turned into a tank slapper... (GSXR front end) |

Why the hell would you want a tail tidy when you can spend money on things to actually improve the bike.

A little bit of headshake is completely different to a tankslapper.......i think perhaps your getting a little confused with which is what.
