Can we just get this straight, because this ****es me off about my SV too.
I have an Sv650s K4 and the best i've ever got (restricted 33BHP) was 110miles before I saw the fuel light come on, and that was being VERY gentle with the throttle. The fuel light does NOT blink, the first time you see it, it is intermittent, on for a few minutes, off for a few minutes. Then when the fuel actually starts getting low, it stays on solid. Is this correct, because I have never seen it "blinking" or "flashing". The only "blinking" or "flashing" I have seen is on a Curvy SV?? |

My k5 light starts flashing at approx 120 - 130 , normally fill up at approx 150 miles and put about 14 l in , most I've done is 170 miles and could only get 15 l in , light had been solid for 20 miles and felt really empty
recon I could get max of approx 185 , but don't want to push it , I have a habit of running bikes too low & pushing Cheers Steve

My K8 flashes after about 130-140 miles, then goes solid around 160-170, I've had just over 200 miles out of a tank, but that was after I'd filled it pretty much up to the cap whilst sat with the bike upright.

Good lord, i usually get flashy at 100 to 115, solid at 120 to 135, i really don't want to push it after it goes solid, im not up to pushing a bike for miles anynmore! |
