Hope my mate Steve Mercer keeps away from the trackside furniture - its hios first TT and he's been learning the track in his van !
Merc passed him 2 minutes after it happened and felt pretty shaken up by what he saw. I know Steve quite well - ask him about Danny's mechanic who told him the story about the mopeds on the Jamaican quayside... that's me that is.

Ive been watching Ollie at the BSB. Wasnt he at the NW200 too? Hope the fella has better luck from here on in. I know the misery he'll be going through at the moment and he's got a long road ahead but it flies by. Ask him for some luck from the plucky William Dunlop who escaped his horror smash last week.

Olie holds the 400cc lap record at the NW200 on a Yamaha FZR400, he loves it over there. He also won a couple of races in the Manx GP (one of them he won by a clear 13 minutes). He loves road racing more than circuits.

1) You get to lie about in bed most of the time watching TV.
2) You get some great drugs delivered to your bedside by a nurse, yummy.
3) They bring you all the food and water you could want....and its brought to you by nurses, yay.
4) Did i mention the nurses yet?
5) You get to sleep as much as you want without anyone moaning at you to get up and do this or that
6) If you do get woken its usualy by a nurse. Result.
7) Did i mention the nurses yet?

GWS and keep smiling
Lol dude, similar thought crossed my mind as a teenager going in for surgery.

Here hoping he makes a swift recovery to full fitness and racing I hate hearing of anything like this.
