I go by the price on somewhere like busters (tyre places will get trade price anyway) + £40 or so to fit as a rough guide to the deal you are getting.

PP2's are pointless. Im running one atm and it doesnt feel any different from the PP tbh.

Both hold up to my level of pushing it... which I think is pretty reasonable.

Do pp2's have a harder center section on the rear for better longevity?

Lean over further Nick!

Grind those pegs to dust!

I can really tell the difference on the front. (not tried the 2CT rear yet so can't say) The edges of the tyre are super sticky when warm. Tacky to the touch.

I'd agree that if you're not pushing it enough to rough the edges of a 2Ct then you don't need the 2CT.

No the PP2CT has same centre as the PP and softer edges, but only the very edges so unless you can get right over front and back its no good

My bike wont get to the edge of the front of the 2CT... The back is all the way over and worn well. Its lost all its writing and "stuff". How much of the edge is soft stuff?

I dont think I can get my tires to the point that they are shredding, I dont think I weigh enough ha ha. Ive spent hours thrashing it around the local bypass and that has a lot of high speed corners and some which involve diving in flicking from side to side and getting hard on the power, though they are a little slower, 40mph, but they are Tight!

Ive notices most people with 120/70's cant get to the edges, even on the track a lot cant. Ive seen a lot with no stips on the back and still have them on the front.

Cheers

P.S. Why pegs wont go down, there is a **** load of clearance, especially now I raised the rear...

If you're to the edge of the rear then you're well in the soft stuff on the edge of the front. There's about 1.5" from the edge of the tread on mine and you can distinctly see where the change is. The soft stuff is very roughed up. When the tyre is hot you should be able to feel the difference with your finger. The edge should feel sticky and you should be able to feel where the change is as well as see it. I'll photograph my front this weekend and put a pick up.

would have thought it would have been more on the front - I chew mine up counter-steering and trailing brakes (bad habits I know)
