the idea is to match the revs required for the new lower gear as you let out the clutch.
I wouldn't worry about it, a blip is better than no blip.

By the time you've worked that out and got the revs exactly to that figure, you'd be in the hedge or past whatever you were slowing for

just remember that if your going to try the "blip throttle while braking" then don't do what i did earlier and forget to pull the clutch in lol

ended up banging forwards and sliding the front end. Good fun i guess and didnt fall off. Really gotta practice

A new one for you to try now then. Now you know how easy blipping is try a clutchless change up. Its easy.

Avoid 1st to 2nd to begin with as it may be a bit tough anf jerky but 2nd - 3rd and upwards just need a gentle push up at the right revs and it'll click right in.
