I'll maybe have to consider that as a replacement, when the old Ipod packs in... hopefully in many years to come mind.
If you are talking about the S9, then Vixis and I got them at Christmas (the 16Gb ones - the 32Gb wasnt out)

While looking at Anythingbutipod last night it looks like there may be an issue (potentially fatal to the device) if you put too much on - looks to me like file-system corruption, but not had that issue but then I dont usually stack it full.

I'll have mine at the AR if you want a look/demo.

Yeah , i was. A sneaky peak at the AR would be nice, cheers SK.

Looking at prices on the internet though, they don't seem any cheaper than the Ipod Touch, so obviously i'd have to think it was better than that in order to buy one, obviously.

Obviously a personal preference which player you buy, dont really want to into that as we'll go around in circles. I like the iPod, its a really nice device for the money, no problem with that.

I could even swallow the fact that an owner has the choice of a major software update for it etc etc, but when you buy a brand new one from the Apple store, weeks after the latest firware is released you would expect it to be present on the device or at least a free download right?

I'll be onto Apple customer service Monday.

My new phone is a bit of a tool. Ok, you dont get the brilliant GUI that you do with the apple touch, or the Iphone but sound wise, it gives even my Nano a run for its money. The phone has everything that you could want, WiFi, decent camera, video capability, 8gb(expandable) memory, SatNav (Nav4All) and a decent walkman. Its smaller than the apple as well. The phone, The Ericsson W995.

I do love the apple interface though, its possibly the best thing about it, and the design, well apple design overall, is always going to alure people to thier products weather you like them or not and that why people like them so much. My nano is 4 years old and still works. It needs a reboot evey now and again, but its fine. I now use it solely in the car as my phone has such a good walkman on it.

I've heard of Zen, but not sure what they offer, I guess walkman offer something as well, bu not sure what.
And the iPhone is £550? payg Why is it so expensive when you can get a whole decent portable computer for £400 (or whatever price you like)
I brought a Zen some four years ago, and within 24 hours of owning it, it had broken.

I then spent months on the phone to their call center to get a replacement, when that didnt work I demanded my money back, a month later I finally got my money back of them.
