I would disagree about stubbies all sounding naff though. The one I had was a very nice uncontrollable racket! ![]()

Running lean can cook exhaust valves, not just a straight through pipe. Effect and cause... I would suspect that the turbine in a tailgunner type thing would produce enough back pressure that it won't make any difference at all. An SV can take a proper can on it without any difference to the mixture.

And the camchain one is just total b0llocks. The engine internals don't know nor care what you're doing with the killswitch.
