Ride the SV faster with a few upgrades to keep up with matey boy on his R6

I'm missreading very well what you have said - 'I'm wanting to spend around £3000 inluding selling mine for around £1500.' - So is that £4,500?

All the signs point to CBR600RR or GSXR or ZX6R. But then you totally throw things by saying you want to commute on it do long distances.

That could then throw a VFR800 into the mix of things. Reliable, enough power, nice two up and comfortable.

But, you seem to be set on a ZX6R and personally I can't see a problem with that, there are plenty of the chaps in the Soho massive who use them...Stu, Monkey, TSM used to, and I think Sid Squid also has one but not entirely sure (it may be a 9). But you want a B1H. I think AndyB Dahhhhn Souf has one, but there could be a possibility he has a Gixxer now.

My advice would be if you can, try and test ride a few bikes, be honest with yourself

My other (read 'not so good') advice, would be, don't join all the tarts on here buying Daytonas

Funnily enough speedplay's reply was something along the lines of what Stewie was told by a Triumph salesman years before he bought the D6, which is why he bought the ZZR600 then the SV.

Stewie was fine on it, PM him SuperstarDJ, he is nice as pie and will happily answer any questions you may have.

Twas indeed lowered and I think the seat may have been adapted. But goes to show, anybody can be catered for.

B1H had a reputation for being a bit overly Hardcore Track.

Streethawk had one for a while but he's not on here much.

TSM had a A1p (or whatever it was called - the earlier one)

Dan_UK had one of the post B1H's - Again he's not on here much.

No help at all really

Edit: and @ 3k could add GSXR750 & Blade to the mix?
