Just got a text from Tim, his bike has a knackered engine and his father is picking him and bike up.
The weather is sunny out so I'm still going for a ride somewhere.

Just got back in..... that was a bloody cold day.... got wet at Thirsk but dryed off coming home.

Should have joined us in Helmsley, Richie. Had a good laff at Tim's expense.
btw - the weather didn't stay sunny.
He'd have been well shafted if it had happened on the tops - doubt he'd get a signal.

Back safe and sound, just about to start searching for a new motor! On the plus side it meant I could get started on the Black sheep early!!

Cheers for the company in Helmsley Dave, the bike was fine in the trailer, although it rearranged itself enough for the bar end to put a few dimples in the canopy.

Got back to discover my trail boots bought off ebay are a great fit, ideal for more pushing And my spare levers have arrived in case I drop the bike at 0mph.

I will have to do a repeat once I get a new engine sorted, Yorkshire Raid Part II.
