Out of respect for those who are very hurt by it and dont want to read it in black and white over and over again perhaps? Like i said above, the ONLY reason i asked someone i trusted was not to hear possible truths thru the rumour mill.

I really don't see your point about this. Hovis died riding his bike. DD died as a result of.......??? WHO KNOWS!!

As MBK says, its open knowledge Hovis went to a better place doing what he loved to do, riding his bike.

if you need to know if he jumped a red light, or flew off a cliff thats your choice to want that detail. I dont know too much detail and i prefer it that way tbh.

The information is not censored tho Rai, people could PM those who knew the reasons as both Spidey and I did, and we were informed of the details of the accident.

Not EVERYONE on here needed to know and it would have distressed people. It quite possibly would have turned into a "who was to blame" discussion, causing further distress.

I was told thro PM also. This is not specifically about Hovie. Its just on occassions there appears to be a very hush hush attitude on here. Thats all

Hovis's passing was not hush hush in any way.

I heard rummors and I'm glad that those rummors have not made there way onto here! They where more upsetting than everyone could imagine, however they turned out to be just rummors of people saying what they knew and somebody adding more to it. Only a couple of people on here know what those rumors are!

I understand people's point of view in wanting to know what happened to DD, people know what they need to know about Hovis passing. But there is nothing about DD's only that he has passed.

For those that felt Hovis' passing was hush hush please PM me and I will tell you.

I have to agree to some extent here. It sometimes feels like someone is deciding who needs to know what.

It's more about protecting the feelings of family members and loved ones! I really don't get this argument! On this thread, we are only asking to be told how DD died, not the details.

I personally feel that this attitude of "we have a right to know the details" is a bit rubber-neck-ish!

If, god forbid, anything happens to me, out of respect for my family who may well read this forum then I would like to think people would have the decency not to discuss th morbid details!
