i think i am a bit, i literally miss words out sometimes when typing at work and dont notice, apperently i have a high chance of having ADD as well, which may explain why i have the attention span of a goldfish!

Is dyslexia passed on genetically? I'm just curious, as no-one in my family is dyslexic, and I'm including Aunts, Uncles and cousins. You would think that if one in ten people are then I should have at least one family member affected, but if it is passed on genetically that would explain why I don't.

Lisa I do not know,
but Yes I'm Dyslexic, and it not something I tend to talk about, It is a bit embarrassing when your 11 year old daughter tell you "No daddy, read that part again." when I reading them a bed time story. And my missus is pee'd off with "How do you spell ....xxxxxxx" what ever I can't spell. Then my mother bought me a dictionary for school which was as she though a good idea. But it is not, As whats the point of a dictionary if you do not know how to spell the word in the first place..! So yes, to your question.
