Bottom line:
Anything that doesn't have a native resolution of at least 1920x1080 IS NOT a 1080p HD device. It may accepted input from the device, but it will be displayed at a lower resolution. (Lower resolution = you shouldn't waste your money on blu ray and just stick with a DVD or VHS)

The same goes for 720p anything with a native resolution of less than 1280x720 is not 720p capable.

I have an epsom projector which i paid £500 for nearly four years ago, still going strong, used everyday with my ps3, picture brilliant and not hd.
I have approx 5ft picture as im restricted due to the projector being quite close to the screen.
It would easily give me a 10ft screen with same quality.
I have a proper screen, electric rise and fall, 2.5m x1.8m.
When this goes i would defo get a hd one.

This is a very good projector, excellent reviews, supern pictures.

It wins loads of reviews, I would have one in my cinema room if I could afford to upgrade from the Panasonic I have now.

that samsung has an even worse screen res than the ebay one, but i might actually be able to hear what im watching, and its not likely to break and burst into flames either
