When did queues at bus stops, stop being queues?

I HAAAAATE it when people skip queues! So rude! And even if i was at the front of a queue for a bus or something, I would move to let and elderly person or disabled person on first. I would also give up my seat.

You get really weird looks on the tube in London if you do this, I've noticed

Bus's are que worthy you can usually get a seat up here at least so you'll find a que but trains are a whole different kettle of fish theres never enough seats especially since the the bridge collapsed up here and unless you want to drive for an hour to get to what would have taken 15 mintues when there was a bridge trains are a free for all fastest and most aggressive people get the seats which im fine with.

So those who need the seats the least, are the ones who get them? Doesn't sound "fine" to me.

i consider myself a gentleman. and treat people as i would wish to be treated. i treat people with no manners the way they should be treated.

and if im at work , even better, i just walk away!

Having lived in friendly London and done bus/tube commutes for many years, I didn't think I could still be surprised by the sheer rudeness and lack of consideration of some people.

However last week on the way back from a meeting myself and another guy were waiting on the tube platform. All very civilised, platform quiet except for a large group of older teen girls who were chattering away at the back of the platform.

Train pulls in, and the mob swarms around us, treading on feet, pushing, etc. Doors open, and in one swift movement the two of us got grabbed, yanked out of the way of the doors and pushed into the side of the train, and the stampede came through. Why? Because there were 6 seats together that they wanted, and we happened to be in front of them at the doors...

2 of us get on (finally) and the guy looks at me in total shock...and you can't do anything cos there is CCTV everywhere and I'd get into **** because of where I work as well

Jeez they made London commuters look polite!

Never ever ever get on the bus is the solution.

No doubt some ned has ****ed everywhere, or you'll get chewing gum on your seats.

I'd rather walk or be a snob and cab it and suffer the financial loss

Most true Goths I know are bloody nice people, it's the goth wanabe teenie boppers and the Emo's that are a pain in the ass and need a good shanking.

Then again it's the same with the metal heads, most are pretty nice people, then you get a few ***** heads.

If it was in London, the idea of chivalry and queing went out the window long ago, the trains are a selfish rush, people won't even let you get off, let along queue to get on, if you offer up your seat people think your insane.

The worst of it though is that more and more people are slipping from simply being inconsiderate to actually being downright rude and aggressive by default to total strangers which Is bang out of order.

Pregnant people and old folk im fine with giving a seat to but fat people and slow people can **** off why should i give them a seat because they cant stop eating dont care how fat you are or how much trouble you seem to be having standing up because your legs wont hold your weight i can watch what i eat you should have as well.
