the forks are cheep though, £295 inc p&p for forks yokes, disks and spindle where as the k4 gsxr 1000 forks are the same price just for the forks and yokes, and the 750 and 600 stuf seems to be more expensive than the 1000 stuf :/

Just thinking - if you're looking at later forks I may have been wrong about that wheel.
I'm going for price over looks so went the srad route

not sure yet but dave preston has the lot by the sound of it, calling him tomorrow

on ebay theres a set inc wheel disk's brakes yokes forks (no clippons) for £440 thats about £200min less than a k3 front, they are usd and the ones on ebay come with 6pots

looking at new bikes atm as spending £700 on a bike i payed £1600 for is not worth it, would strip it down and sell the parts and get somthing else or another sv

Over £500 for a set of new Suzuki disks, so even on ebay they don't go cheap.

What years?
I went SRAD because it was about £100 cheaper (maybe a wee bit more) than kwhatever stuff. In hindsight it was a lot of ****ing about individually sourcing cheap, decent bits. I'd be looking at a thoroughly checked over complete front end for sale.
I'm also expecting mine to look ****e but hopefully will work better!

Where's £700 come from, can't be that much surely?
If you're patient and work hard you can get it looking presentable for much less.

When I totalled my curvy it came to circa £350 for all new panels, levers, a new tank, and a new front end.
What've you damaged? other than the front end (£440)?

so far

forks and yokes £315
brakes+ line and master c £130
spindle £27
wheel+ disks £100
speedo £96

=£668

the wheel is just a punt on a bid for 2, that lot is for k4 gsxr 1000

then i need right side rear pannel lets say £25 - £40, bars (clipons are expensive) £30ish, lights £25 - £55, indicators £15, grips £10, mirrors £15, then if i need to get a wheel without disks add disks £200, seat cowl £50, air filter £25, front fender £30 so about another £100 - £200

gixxer front end around £400 complete + speedo £96, panel £40, indis £15, grips £10, mirrors £15, air filter £15 (take it yours isn't a washable one then?), lights £55, cowl (not essential) £50

**** £700

....now work out how much it is , as is!

(if you don't go gixxer front end it'll be less outrageous I would have thought, but now's probably the time to do it if you want it done)
