Follow him to his destinantion and then have a free and frank exchange of views culminating in him reaching for tissues to wipe the blood from his nose.

If on the bike I particularly enjoy letting em go, waiting to catch them up at the next traffic jam, then filtering along past and plonking myself in front of them in a subtle gesture at the futility of their plonkishness.

In the car? I'd probably slam my foot down, until realising someone is going to end up in a mangle.

I'd have burned him! At least for a moment, to make the point...

i was on the m26 (a two lane motorway) on wednesday in my lorry doing 56 mph the lorry in front was going slightly slower, i decided to overtake as i could not see any cars in my rear view mirror, i must have taken 2 or 3 minutes to overtake him but in that time a que of cars had formed behined me! i pulled back in, the first car to pass was french, (driver on the left) no reaction... then came the toyota hi lux 4x4 with fists waving and rude hand gestors.. the third car an un marked police ford focus... now with blue and twos, the copper in the passanger seat smiled at me as they passed then pulled the 4x4 over.. made my day that did

I'd had out dragged him to be honest, normally I wouldn't and I hate people who do it to me, but the difference in this case is he had been a c**t. If he wants to have an accident he can do it behind me.

I think you did the right thing by just ignoring him to be honest. His time will come!

(Aside: note my use of the word "many" which makes it clear that I'm not slating all 4x4 drivers!)

In this case, I was obeying the change of speed limit from 40 to 60 and the Land Rover that had been sitting impatiently behind me decided this would be a good opportunity to overtake.

In the dark.

In the rain.

With a bend at the bottom of the hill...

... and now there's a car coming around the bend ahead of us, and the 4x4 is only just level with me and I realise that he's not going to pull back because he sees it as defeat and he keeps pushing forward and I brake to allow him to pull in front.

He pulls in front of me and the oncoming vehicle goes past, but the road is very wet and the 4x4 skids and spins back over the other side other road and into a stone wall.

The driver was unhurt and got out of the car. His mate had been in the car behind and they were both making out that I had accelerated deliberately to block him, even though the speed limit signs are clearly visible along that stretch of road.

I got a visit from the police later that night but both they and the 4x4's insurance company agreed that it was the other driver's own stupid fault.

I call that poetic justice, and I hold on tight to that story (and this one) when 4x4 drivers use their size to intimidate and bully other road users; it has a calming effect, knowing that they will very likely get what they deserve.
nice......im surprised you stopped for him. I would have waved, shaked my head in dissaproval and carried on.........

Poetic justice indeed lol
