My Delkevic can has just arrived! It seems to have come with some extra clamps (there are 4 in total), anyone know why? The finish and quality of the welding is outstanding for a can of this price, and with next day delivery I am very impressed with the service from this company.

4?! No idea why then. Mine only came with the strap and one clamp as shown in the picture. Wish to send me one on so I can have one on my link pipe ? hehe.

Yeah the quality of the pipe is lovely, and the welds have an awesome look to them. It's really quite industrial looking IMO - I love it.

It came with a clamp on the can and one on the link pipe and two in a separate bag. The separate ones appeared to be a larger diameter but I only got a very quick look before I had to leave for work. If the extra clamps will fit I'm quite happy to send one to you.

Your generosity is very much appreciated mike, but I think I'll just let you figure out what you wanna do with them :P mine's pretty secure with just the one on the end can.
Nice to know you got something free however!

Fitted my 450mm can tonight and without the baffle it's more than loud enough, glad I didn't go for the stubby. It totally transforms the sound of the bike though, gives a proper deep V twin sound rather than the muted "phut-phut" of the standard one.

Reeder, one of the spare clamps is the correct size. It's yours if you want it, pm me with details if you do.

Haha lol I cannot ride my bike for more than 5 minutes without earplugs in thanks to my homemade stubby! there is a link below to youtbue if you want to hear it but to quote DavePreston, 'it sounds as tho the gates of hell have opened and everything from within is chasing you' and I love it!!!!!

How noisy?................ Well I have the Delkevic 225mm carbon stubby and it'll make your ears bleed!!!

IMO a little bit too loud, I wear ear plugs now but my ears still ring the day after. Like one poster said, its great on the country roads it roars when you roll the throttle on and gurggles when you roll the throttle off.... Beutiful!

But driving around town I do feel like a *****!, I rode through Poole highstreet the other day, Car alarms were set off, Small children covering there ears and disapointing looks from passers by.

Definetly upgrade, but go for the 350mm and if it isnt loud enough remove the baffle! afterall you can always put it back in.

On a lighter note, anyone want to swap a 350mm delkevic for a 225mm Carbon Delkevic, Guaranteed to turn heads....?!
